As the founders of Wild AX Capital, we believe in keeping the formula SIMPLE. We believe “skin in the game” is important for trust and loyalty in each project we encounter. So YES we invest our money in each and every property. WHY? If we feel confident enough to take our friends and families money, we better feel confident investing our capital in as well.
What to expect as an investor
As an investor you didn’t sign up for another job and we understand that. We keep investors informed with projects we have analyzed and feel will be a good fit to our model and expectation.
MONTHLY PAYOUTS: Once we raise the capital needed, you can expect a return month 1 of closing on the property. One thing we hate is investment funds where you have to wait for months if not years for a return.
UPDATE PROPERTY: Once the property has closed, it is time for Wild Ax Capital to get the property up-to-date. Since each property is different, it’s hard to include exactly what this entails, but usually remodeling units, new property management, increased rents etc.
CAPITAL EVENT: With the property running more efficiently and producing more income there is a short stabilization period to show the bank a trailing 6-12 month rent roll. At this point a capital event such a refinance will take place where we can capitalize on the income approach of the property. Our goal is to get 50-100% of your money back around year 2 during the refinance.
LONG-TERM ASSET: We believe wealth is built by holding on to our real estate assets long-term. Following the refinance, we continue to deploy monthly payouts with a 65/35 (Wild Ax Capital/Investor) ratio until the next capital event.
DEPRECIATION: Writing off the depreciation of an asset might be one of the most appealing benefits of real estate. This year-end tax advantage is distributed to each investor.
